Wade Jackson (BA, Dip. Drama) has an amazingly varied background that has seen him travel to many different countries with many different experiences.
Wade Jackson Educated in Auckland, New Zealand Wade traveled around South America as a rugby player before going to live in Japan for a number of years where he studied the Japanese language and trained martial arts. He received his first black belt in Karate in 1995 and studied Zen Shiatsu (Japanese acupressure massage) for three years including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Wade has studied eastern and western nutrition along with performing a lot of energy training. Wade is a qualified aerobics instructor and an ex-professional dancer who has choreographed the annual NZ Beach Girl Pageant since 1996. He has studied Anatomy and Physiology at both Unitec and the Auckland Institute of Technology and has worked one on one with former double World Aerobics Champion Brett Fairweather. Wade is currently a practitioner of the non-sport self-defence Koryu Karate (Classical Karate) tradition, training under world famous historian and instructor Kyoshi Patrick McCarthy. Along with being a professional actor / comedian, Wade also runs his own successful production company, Improv Productions that is renowned for it's quality shows and productions. Wade Jackson with his multi-disciplined background is in high demand for workshops and seminars around New Zealand. |
